Many times, we aren\u2019t even aware we have a worldview; we don\u2019t have an awareness of our worldview any more than we are aware of the air we breathe. We don\u2019t even think about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I heard of a man who was giving a presentation about the Christian view of origins. He elegantly explained the Christian worldview and sited examples and evidence to support his position.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the audience was an atheist. The young man challenged the speaker saying, \u201cThere is no God. Everything came about by random chance. We were not created, we evolved. There is no higher authority than myself. I have seen no proof of a God therefore He doesn\u2019t exist.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The speaker chose not to argue with the young man, but simply asked him, \u201cYou seem like an intelligent person, let me ask you; do you know everything?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The young man said, \u201cNo, of course I don\u2019t know everything.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The speaker then asked, \u201cDo you know maybe half of everything?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo, I can\u2019t say that I know even half of everything.\u201d replied the young man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell,\u201d said the speaker, \u201clet\u2019s give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you know half of all there is to know.
